Savin Hill MBTA Station

Boston, Massachusetts

The new Savin Hill MBTA Station replaces a 1920’s era station at that location. Designed with the sustained input and engagement of neighborhood residents, the new facility is fully accessible and compliments adjacent transit oriented development. The new brick and glass headhouse with a vaulted roof signifies the stations importance in the daily life of the neighborhood. The glazed bridge which provides access to the platform level marks the station in dramatic fashion from the adjacent Southeast Expressway.
